Since 1965, the Carlin Trend has produced over 50 million ounces of gold from an area 56 kilometres long and eight kilometres wide. Total production and reserves are close to 100 million ounces. Deposits along the Carlin Trend have gold concentrations that range from 0.7 to 34.0 grams per tonne.
